More than 5 million people have lost their jobs since 2008 and many of them didn't see the hit coming. To attend work one morning only to be blindsided by a firing by the afternoon can be painful like losing a loved one. "Black Voices in Commentary" DeWayne Wickham, the columnist for USA Today and Wayne Dawkins, a Hampton University journalism faculty member and National Association of Black Journalists historian, compiled "Black Voices in Commentary: The Trotter Group," a collection of pieces by 23 Black columnists.
